Dear WACC Family,
Three thousand years ago, the psalmist David penned words that we still cling to today: Psalm 145:13 “The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” In the face of the unpredictability, heartache, and loss of this past year, we have witnessed once again that God is faithful in all he does, in every season. As we have celebrated people coming home to faith in Jesus, many finding healing in times of pain, and countless choosing to serve and sacrifice so that people might experience the grace of God, we have witnessed the trustworthiness and faithfulness of God in our midst.
Behind every number in this Annual Report is the story of a life touched by God’s love. I pray that reading through this report might be a worshipful experience as you thank God for all the ways he continues working in and through this church family. Please join me in praying that God will guide WACC in the year ahead, and that he will use it to bless this community and world in extraordinary ways.
Thank you for continuing to be a church family who prays, serves, and sacrifices so that others can know that our God is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
God bless you,

As leaders of Rooted groups, Danny and I trust the Lord will make a leader evident to continue to meet as a group after Rooted. Week seven’s discussion about spiritual gifts is perfect for starting the conversation and asking the group to pray about identifying a host home. Recently, the Mena family offered to host the group. We then suggested they lead and start a Community Group. They let us know it was on their hearts, and they had been praying about it. They were encouraged we saw what God can do through them! - Danny and Mona Valdez

Global Partner Brian Parker worked with Benoit, a language consultant, to translate the bible into three African languages in Cameroon and the Central African Repulic: Budga, Fulu, and Gbagiri. This project is the result of years of study and work by a team that includes local leaders, pastors, and linguists. Benoit told Brian that on the first Sunday they used the new Bible in the Gbagiri language in the church where he preaches the people wept when they heard the words of God in their own language from the Gospel of Matthew.
Everything about the week was memorable, but I really did enjoy bonding with the kids in my group and now being able to say hi to them on Sundays. - VIENNA SERNA

It’s such an open and welcoming environment, especially all the coaches, families, and kids. I see this as an amazing opportunity and outreach where our church can invest. We have so many opportunities coming up, and I encourage everyone to try WACC Sports once, and who knows, 13 years later you’ll be hooked. - THE HEARD FAMILY
