Dear Church Family,
Almost two thousand years ago, Jesus said, “My Father is always working, and so am I” (John 5:17). As 2021 comes to a close, we celebrate that God's work remains uninterrupted in spite of the challenges around us. This was evident in the opening of the new Worship Center Auditorium and Chapel in March. It was evident in WACC's 50th Anniversary Celebration in August. It was also evident in the 86 people baptized, the 242 families and individuals welcomed to WACC for the first time, and the 66 kids who made first-time decisions to follow Jesus at VBS.
Each of the numbers in this report are reminders of the incredible truth that our God never stops working. Thank you again for remaining faithful to join God in the important work of bringing Jesus to people and people to Jesus.

"This year, as I went through my husband’s illness, I was very devastated because I thought I was going to lose him. This church was praying for my husband though. People that I didn’t even know were praying for him, and my Spanish-speaking community group was with me all the time. This community showed me that I’m not alone. God showed me he is with me all the time. I used to try to fix everything myself. Now, I know I don’t have to worry. Now, I know I’m not alone."

"My daughters and I started attending WACC in January of 1987 because I had heard of the fantastic youth programs that were at this church, and it was through WACC that they got the experience of Hume Lake. Our grandchildren have grown up here, and it’s just been a great experience for multiple generations. It’s really been a joy and a blessing being a part of this church family of all the different generations, and I love the way that all the generations work together. I just loved seeing VBS and being involved once again. It’s just so much fun and so rewarding."

"I was completely surprised when we made the call for volunteers for WACC en Español. About 15 people showed up to say, 'Hey, I want to help.' And immediately, we started having greeters in Spanish. We were moved and blessed by the generosity of the church. Some of the messages we started hearing from people who shared, 'We used to drop off grandma at a Spanish language church, but now she comes to WACC with us.' We heard of husbands and wives who were going to two different churches, but now they can come to church together. Stories like this were like a fuel that motivated us to serve. We have seen the great blessing that this ministry has brought to our community. It has completely changed our lives. I want to give glory to the Lord that we can call WACC our home church and do it in our language."
