Care Ministry

Providing competent, compassionate care in Jesus' name. Bringing hope, encouragement, spiritual guidance and mercy to the hurting people in the body of Christ.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Matt. 25:35-36

CELEBRATION OF LIFE - FUNERALS

One of the most difficult things a person will experience is the death of a loved one. The Congregational Care Ministry staff at Whittier Area Community Church is prepared to walk alongside you to plan and facilitate a personalized Celebration of Life ceremony that honors your loved one and provides comfort and closure. Memorial service costs can vary greatly depending on personal wishes, so in an effort to clarify and help the decision-making process, please contact WACC's memorial services coordinator Melody Tabor at mtabor@wacc.net or 562-945-4500 x112.

If you or someone close to you has suffered a loss, we extend our deepest condolences, and yet we rejoice in the promise of eternal life we have been given through Jesus Christ.
