These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.wacc.net (the "Site"), operated by Whittier Area Community Church ("Church," "we," "us," or "our"), a California nonprofit religious corporation and federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization. By using the Site, you accept these Terms in full. Church reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Use of the Site

4. Online Donations and Financial Transactions

The Site may offer the ability to make donations or other financial transactions to support the ministry of Whittier Area Community Church. All donations are processed through a secure third-party payment processor. By submitting a donation, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that the information you submit is accurate.

Whittier Area Community Church is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You are encouraged to consult a tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contributions. Church does not provide tax advice.

All donations are considered final. If you believe an error has occurred, please contact us promptly at info@wacc.net.

5. User-Submitted Content

If you submit comments, prayer requests, contact form messages, or other content through the Site, you grant Church a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with Church's ministry and operations. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit, and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

Church is not obligated to post, retain, or respond to any submitted content and may remove content at its sole discretion.

6. Mobile Messaging

Church may send text messages (SMS/MMS) to individuals who have opted in to receive mobile communications. By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive messages, you agree to receive SMS/MMS communications from Whittier Area Community Church, which may include ministry updates, event reminders, and urgent announcements.

Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Mobile phone numbers will not be sold, shared, or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.

Church's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed fifty dollars ($50.00).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
