A note from WACC Short Term Missions Coordinator.
The world is experiencing a catalytic year. For many of us, this year has changed the trajectory of life forever. To some extent, we’ve developed deeper relationships with family, friends and coworkers. However, we still long to be in their presence once again, to be able to touch and hug and offer in-person gestures that say, “you mean a lot to me.”
God’s plan was always to create lasting relationships that would feed off of His word, and in turn, we would partner with one another to make a difference in the world. In this time of “being still, and knowing that He is God,” let us dig deep into the core of who we are and prepare for what comes next. Let us contemplate what role we can play in caring for one another as we head out into the world and across the globe. This is what I believe God will allow us all to do. It’s certainly what’s expected of us, and it’s spelled out in His word.Marie Huizar
“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:34-36 (NLT)
