TIME TO GIVE THANKS

Let’s take time to give thanks, so we don’t miss an opportunity to praise God for His provision.

And as part of that, thank you for your giving to our campus project that began in the fall of 2009. Your generosity made it possible to accomplish a lot in the past two years. You can really s ee the difference …

Earthwork: 85 percent of our 17 acres excavated, graded and contoured with retaining walls.
Entrances: Three new entrances for better traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
Utilities: Underground systems to prepare for our future building needs.
Parking: Doubled from 385 to 793 spaces for our attenders and guests.
Trees: 240 old and hazardous trees traded for 300 new, native California trees, plus other plantings.
Lawn: A great outdoor event area while we anticipate needs and plans for a new worship center.
Playground: A delightful place where all God’s children love to play.

Total Received as of 9/30/11: $2,233,160
Amount Remaining on Construction Loan: $1,763,830

With appreciation for all the gifts that have been received — especially considering the financial sacrifices required in a challenging economy — we believe God is faithful and will continue to provide for you and for our church.

As we conclude our focus on this campus project, any gifts received by November 30, 2011 will reduce the amount remaining on our church construction loan, and therefore reduce the monthly payments required in our operating budget for years to come.

There’s more than meets the eye in transformation of our church campus. The significant transformation we long for is in people's lives, as we welcome them to Whittier Area Community Church and to a growing relationship with Jesus.
