Common Questions and Answers About Early Childhood Classes

How do I know which class my child should attend?
Classes are divided by birth dates. Signs with birth months are posted by each room and brochures describing age divisions are available at the Information Center and in any Early Childhood Classroom.

Can I stay with my child until he or she is happy?
Certainly. Parents are always welcome to visit our classrooms or nurseries. Positive parental modeling of exploring the new environment and socializing with other children and our staff is the best way your child can learn to feel comfortable, build confidence, and feel content.

What time should we arrive?
Classes open 15 minutes before the beginning of all scheduled services. Children arriving for the second morning service may come into their classes at any time.

Do many children stay for both services?
Yes. It is common for children to stay for both hours. Both sessions study the same Bible story each week but have different crafts and learning activities. Children who attend both services get the richest program since they get the most reinforcement of the lesson concepts for the week.

How can I enroll my child in Sunday’s class?
Registration forms are available in all Early Childhood classrooms and nurseries. Simply inform the helpers you would like your names added to our computerized attendance. We look forward to welcoming your child!
